Bellport High School senior Julius Radino was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from NYSCAME/Suffolk. Radino was one of 15 seniors across the county selected for this recognition.

Bellport High School junior Naja Palmer has earned international recognition after receiving the Rising Scholars Award in the Lumiere Scholars Essay Competition. Palmer’s essay on artificial intelligence was selected from more than 2,100 entries submitted by students in 104 countries. As part of the honor, she also received a $500 scholarship to participate in any Lumiere Research Scholar Program.
