The South Country School District is pleased to announce that 67 Bellport High School students have earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy on their diplomas.

Wearing white graduation gowns and caps, members of the Bellport High School Class of 2026 recently strolled down the halls of their former elementary schools to both reminisce and serve as inspiration to current students. The graduates were met with cheers, applause and colorful signs bearing messages of congratulations.
 

Bellport High School's Multicultural Student Association recently took a trip to New York City's RiseNY museum.

Bellport High School AP African American Studies students Tess Adepoju, Samaita Chowdhury, Jasmyn Jackson and Arielle Ross recently presented their final research projects to a packed room at the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Museum. Their research topics included “The Murder of Emmett Till and Its Influence on the Civil Rights Movement,” “Redlining and Its Lasting Effects,” “The Significance of African American Hairstyles in Shaping Personal Identity and Perception” and “The Contributions of African American Scientists and Inventors.”

Twenty-one Bellport High School seniors who committed to compete in athletics at the collegiate level were honored during a signing day ceremony.

The Suffolk County School Superintendents Association recently hosted its 32nd annual Valedictorians Luncheon at Villa Lombardi.

All of Bellport High School’s spring varsity sports teams have earned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete team award.

Members of the Bellport High School Students for Environmental Quality Club recently helped to beautify the community during the annual Great Brookhaven Cleanup. Accompanied by their advisers, the students volunteered to remove debris surrounding their school and nearby community spaces. Working together, they collected more than 10 large garbage bags filled with litter.
